Today we have homemade curry for dinner. Bcos of the bad weather, it just stopped me from going shopping. I am more used to sleeping in such a cold and rainy day. Looking at the photos, you will know how yummy the curry chicken is. Want to have a taste of it? Heehee! :) ||11:52 PM||

A true friend may not be your best friend but someone who you know will be there for you. In a comparison of personal relationships, friendship is considered to be closer than acquaintanceship, although there is a range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and acquaintances. Friendship and acquaintanceship can be thought of spanning across the same continuum. Value that is found in friendships is often the result of a friend demonstrating on a consistent basis: - the tendency to desire what is best for each other. - sympathy and empathy. - honesty, perhaps in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth. - mutual understanding. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. These are some answers from others (would like to share and ponder about it): a) Someone that I can trust, fun to be around, can talk non-stop to or not talk at all. Someone that you run to, to tell them about something (stupid or incredible). b) some 1 who tells u almost everything and keeps ur secrets and doesn't tell them to anybody no matter what. and they won't try to still any of ur exs. c) Someone that you have know for a very long time you trust and could tell basically anything too. Generally a best friend is someone that you could argue with and still kick it later in the day don't talk about you you could talk amongst your selves. someone like a sister or brother. d) A mutual like for each other. Someone you can talk to about anything and have real conversations. They cheer you up when you're down. They have alot in common with you (likes and dislikes) or if not, they are still your friend when you disagree. e) Someone who knows you from the outside in. They know everything about you (the good and the bad) and are still willing to stick by you in good times or bad times. That person will have your back no matter the reason. f) A person who understands you. A person who is loyal to you, who you can tell everything to, who will cry with you, laugh with you, make jokes with you, spends time with you, can spend hours on the phone with you, feel happy, scared, or angry for you. A person who is close to you, and you love like a sister. A best friend is NOT a person who will just let you sit by them at lunch. A best friend is NOT someone who will start a feeble conversation with you and then turn her back on you to start joking with other friends. A best friend is someone you need to be with, who makes you feel like you belong. A best friend is someone who you need almost or as much as your family. I had a best friend. But then I moved. I have new friends now but it's not the same, never the same. When you find your best friend keep her close to you. But even if you have to move away or something, just know she will always be close to your heart. Always. Cuz that's what best friends do. g) someone who "gets" me...someone who has the patience and desire to grow together, learn, talk things out...is loyal, makes an effort to know me, trusts me with their problems (and in turn, is trustworthy with mine), builds me up/is supportive but gives their honest opinions and frequent constructive feedback. NOT someone who won't talk to you when times get tough or who bad-mouths you to others when they are feeling insecure! h) Anyone who is nice, understanding, helpful, and doesn't stab your back. Friendship doesn't revolove around color or gender. So dear friends out there, what is your comments and advise to have a best friend! ||9:47 PM||

I start to feel so pressurising to be doing a lot of admin work in school such as marking books. Especially this year, I am taking double Math. I can cope with the teaching but not the marking. Not only marking to do at times, I got to do other things like chase pupils after health booklets, call up parents to tell them abt their child, discipline pupils at all times while teaching, do up minutes for level meeting for that week, Chair the meeting for this week so need to come up with agenda, set new worksheets for new syllabus and also set mental sums question for my level, in charge of disseminating information since I am a math rep for my level, help out in some stuffs, edit my lesson plan sometimes, and others. Tired sometimes, I hope to be able to endure for as much as I can. Now I start to understand what is a full load mean to a full time experienced teacher. Nothing to compare to my practicum or contract teaching at all. I hope the school can spare my misery. Now they let me be the only teacher-in-charge of Brownies and Red Cross. I wonder if I really nid to attend both sharing and training session. I choose not to. Cos the school is dissolving this CCA soon. What is the point then? Sometimes too tired le, hate to mention from the day I joined the school up to now, I do not have a CCA that last more than half a year. They just love to give me CCA for jus a few weeks and let me swap to another CCA. I hate it. I want to choose something I really want. I indicated in the staff needs survey but do not know if they even look it up or care abt our needs. Tired and speechless!

My new resolution for this year is to be slim and fit. Why will I make that resolution? My main concern is that I always sprain my ankle and my feet always go soft. Maybe I have not enough nutrients. So first of all, I need to watch my diet. Then I need to start with a few jogging practices. After which, I need to focus my attention on my teaching. To make sure all my P2 pupils can have 100% passes, to meet with the workplan requirement. ||8:20 PM||
