THIS WEEK'S LOVESCOPES for 5/9 - 5/15 2005 What to expect this week: There's a change of atmosphere this week with Venus leaving traditional Taurus for the more experimental surroundings of Gemini on Monday. This brings mobility to relationships with new ideas and curiosity opening doors to people and social events that might have been avoided in the past. It's time to taste life's delights, but in little bites so there's room for a variety of people and experiences now. ARIES (March 20–April 19) Love, or at least a hint of it, can be found around any corner. You don't have to go far to connect with someone who stimulates your thinking, and even your heart. Keep it light for the time being, instead of letting your impulses push you too far too fast. TAURUS (April 20–May 20) Developing some fresh interests is a good way to meet people now, Taurus. Get out of the old routine by exploring activities that you've never tried before. Just have fun and open your mind to connect with someone who can awaken you to new pleasures. GEMINI (May 21–June 20) Listening and watching may get you further socially than talking a lot now. You seem mysterious and confident when you keep your thoughts to yourself. Opening up to someone slowly can be as delicious as unwrapping an elaborately packaged gift. CANCER (June 21–July 22) Showing your feelings more openly can feel risky, but is probably the best move to make this week. Look, if a person can't appreciate your emotions, then the relationship doesn't have much of a future anyway. Take a chance and get right to the point now. LEO (July 23–August 22) You know exactly what you're after this week, but try not to come across too strong. A less aggressive way of connecting with a person is likely to make you more attractive. There's no need for a showdown now, just stay open to whatever happens next. VIRGO (August 23–September 22)You're likely to feel more at ease as of Thursday, a time when trust and self-confidence go up. Meeting someone from a far away place can seem totally comfortable, even if you're unfamiliar with the customs and habits of this person's native land. LIBRA(September 23–October 22) You can talk to anyone from anywhere this week. Chatting with strangers on a bus or in the mall is easier than ever now. This is a great way to make connections because one person leads to another, which widens the dating pool, increasing your odds for success. SCORPIO (October 23–November 22) Try to take relationships less seriously. A playful, flirty attitude will be much more fun and a lot less complicated for you at this time. It takes the pressure off to simply enjoy the company of another person, rather than trying to reach a specific objective. SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21) Venus, the love planet, is entering your house of partnership this week, a positive event in your relationship life. Whether it brings life back to an old partnership or opens the door to someone new, this is definitely a time to get and let your personality shine. CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19) This is tolerance week, Capricorn, a time when you set aside some of your judgments about people and accept them as they are. And, you might notice that if you relax some of your rules, you might enjoy the company of someone in a surprising new way. AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18) You're likely to act impulsively this week, but sometimes a "mistake" can turn out to your advantage. Just because things start out on the wrong foot, it doesn't mean that you're doomed. Stay cool and you might turn an awkward moment into a special one. PISCES (February 19–March 19) Having someone over to your place can be the ideal way to deepen a relationship now. There's no need to make an elaborate meal or anything like that.
